Free Shredding Day in Toronto
TORONTO , April 2008 – shredEX today announced its participation in the upcoming Environment Day, to be held on April 26, 2008.  Hosted by the City of Toronto through Councillor Case Ootes, the event is intended to promote various environmental initiatives and identity theft prevention.

shredEX has been selected as the preferred document destruction company and will be  providing complimentary shredding services for the general public.  The community is invited to bring personal and confidential items which will be destroyed on site, to protect the individual’s privacy.  All shredded materials will be recycled and as part of shredEX’s TreeCycling program, shredEX will also plant one tree for every tonne of paper shredded or recycled.  “Identity Theft has grown to become the leading crime in North America.  From day one, it has been our focus to provide security programs not only for our business clients, but for our residential customers as well.”, says Peter Panagio, shredEX President.

Environment Day will be held at Dieppe Park, 455 Cosburn Ave.  The event runs all day, with the Community Shred service being held from 10am to 2pm. Environment Day will be held at Dieppe Park, 455 Cosburn Ave.  The event runs all day, with the Community Shred service being held from 10am to 2pm.
